The Gate

The Gate represents the intersection of the known with the unknown. In its most common temporal interpretation the Ikon represents the beginnings of journeys, but it is equally valid for it to refer to a connection of elements that would normally never meet-- sometimes the unknown comes to you. The Gate always looks forward and outward; it focuses on what can be gained and lost by the introduction of the new rather than lingering on the displacement of the old.

Fitting start for the new year.  My goal this year is to finish the set of 27...which is probably not going to happen, but having the goal will help get it done.
